The Founder

Founder of AMIIN, Ameena (Bajar) Gupta, is Canadian-born of Indian and Western European origins. Growing up, she always felt that she needed to fit into both ‘worlds’, yet often felt like she did not fully belong to either.

Largely inspired by her global travels and background, AMIIN was created as a brand that honours the craftsmanship traditions of both cultures and combines them in a modern way that enables the wearer to showcase and embrace the multiple facets of their identity.

Ameena has traveled, studied, volunteered and worked across North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South Asia & East Asia and is based out of Toronto, Canada. She holds an MSc in Management (International Business) from Ivey Business School and a CEMS Masters in Management.
